It was a cold and damp Autumn evening on November 1st 2025, but that didn’t stop the Brethren, friends and family of East Lancashire Mark Masonry heading to one of the calendar highlights of the year… The East Lancashire Mark Fellowship Cabaret Night!
From the moment they arrived, the fellowship was clear, gathering for drinks in the bar at the fantastic Bolton Mercure, catching up as well as making a few new friends.
Then, it was time to take their seats for a warm and welcoming address from Fellowship Chairman, WBro Stuart Hughes, before the evening’s entertainment, courtesy of the amazing vocalist John Connolly who’s repertoire covered everything from current pop classics to swing and jazz plus anything in between. It didn’t take long before he had the party goers up and dancing on the dance floor.
The night continued with more drinks, great food, amazing conversations at the tables and then the big raffle built suspense and the happy winners collected a variety of amazing prizes donated by the East Lancashire Fellowship and members of our Mark Masonry.
Once the prize celebrations had concluded, John Connolly once again took to the stage and, without a beat, the dance floor was full once again and the chatter in the room continued until the evening ended.
