£3000 to Pendleside

DONATE £3000. TO PENDLESIDE HOSPICE
Staff and volunteers at Pendleside Hospice in Burnley are celebrating receipt of a grant from the Mark Master Masons of East Lancashire, wholly funded by its charity, the Mark Benevolent Fund.

The donation, which is part of a Major Capital Grant of £1.25m to over 250 hospices in England, Wales, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, recognises the contribution made by HRH Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh to the service of the Crown and the life of the nation.

On behalf of the Mark Benevolent Fund, VWBro David H Thompson, PGJO, APGM, along with Bro Alan Dunnicliff, the Worshipful Master of Priory Lodge No 403, presented a cheque for £7000 to Graham Parr who is the Chairman of the Trustees to East Lancashire Hospice.

MBF 2021 Festival – Update

It is with no little sadness that I have to announce that the Festival Banquet scheduled for 3rd July has been cancelled due to the extension of the Covid-19 lockdown measures.
