Keep Lodge of Mark Master Masons held their Installation Meeting at the Masonic Rooms in the Conservative Club, Clitheroe on Thursday 24 November. In attendance was RWBro John Hartley Smith along with a Provincial deputation. The Worshipful Master Bro Paul Collier welcomed the Provincial Grand Master and offered him the gavel which unsurprisingly, he did not retain. The Installation of the Master Elect, Bro Bruce Pollard was carried out by WBro Clive Berry PProvGJO in a very competent manner. The newly appointed Worshipful Master then proceeded to install his new team into their respective offices.
This evening the Lodge Room was a full house with around 35 brethren in attendance including a visitor from Austria, WBro Thomas M Buchsbaum.
The proceedings of the Lodge being ended, the brethren packed away their regalia and moved across the road to the Swan & Royal Hotel. It was a pleasure to dine in such splendid surroundings with 32 brethren enjoying a delicious dinner.
A raffle took place with 5 prizes available and this raised a substantial amount for good causes. A wonderful evening of Mark Masonry at its best.
