On Monday 14th November at Westholme Masonic Hall Mossley Mark Lodge No 1381 held their half-yearly meeting. Everybody was in good spirits whilst we awaited the Worshipful Master to arrive but sadly due to a fall VWBro Malcolm Moreland, PGSO, was unable to attend and sent his apologies.
The IPM, WBro Desmond Rushworth PPGStwd took the chair of Adoniram and opened the Lodge at 11:40. WBro Garry Errock, PGSD, gave a fascinating talk on the Scottish Chapter/ Mark degree in which it was at times mind-boggling on how it all came together at the end.
The business of the Lodge being ended we moved downstairs to the social board and we were served a nice three-course meal. A raffle took place and raised money for a worthy cause. This is one of only two Mark Lodges in the Province of East Lancashire which is a Day time meeting Lodge.
