After fourteen years of excellent service, Dennis Scowcroft has decided to retire from the Canon’s Close Managements Committee as Site Manager. It was impossible to persuade, blackmail or tempt him in any way to continue.

The almost final Mark Provincial Deputation visit took place at Skelmersdale Mark Lodge 141 on Tuesday 15th May at Ashton under Lyne Masonic Hall. The residents of Canons Close enjoyed their Christmas get together on Tues 12th when they all enjoyed the usual mince pies, Christmas cake and a few glasses of wine and bucks fizz.
